Forest School at All Saints
The forest is an environment to which we are all entitled, as long as we give it full due respect. We strongly believe that the experiences at Forest School will remain with our pupils at All Saints as a fond memory.
Forest School encourages children to use their own initiative and develop skills through a wide range of largely unstructured, hands on experiences. With the guidance and support of the Forest School leader, Mrs Lovelock, children develop to become competent and more self-sufficient learners. Pupils are initiated into leading their own learning, making full use of their creativity and imagination, whilst at the same time learning to love and appreciate the natural world in which we live.
We encourage a level of risk-taking, always under close adult supervision, and actively foster friendships and collaboration between all children and adults present. Forest School activities are always designed to produce success and enjoyment. The aim is that ALL children feel secure and know that their individual contribution is valued.
